Terms & Conditions for Aldan Lodge Motel

1. Payment Policy

• Reservation Guarantee: Credit card details are required to secure all reservations.

• Direct Bookings:

  • Payable and charged on the day of arrival.

• Agent Bookings:

  • Payable and charged when the booking becomes non-refundable, typically 2 days before the stay date.

• Credit Card Surcharge: A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.

• Account Settlement: Accounts must be settled on arrival unless prior arrangements have been made.

• Overdue Accounts:

  • Subject to interest at 2.5% per month.

  • An administration fee of $50.00 will apply.

  • Additional debt collection and/or legal fees may be incurred.

2. Cancellation Policy

a. Standard Bookings

• Free Cancellation:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the 2 PM check-in time are free of charge.

• Late Cancellation:

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.

• Special Conditions:

  • Apply for discounted, non-refundable bookings.

• No-Show:

  • 100% cancellation fee applies.

b. Group Bookings

i. Bookings Made Outside 30 Days

• Free Cancellation:

  • Up to 30 days before arrival.

• Cancellation Within 30 Days:

  • Charged one night's stay for the whole group.

• Payment:

  • Full payment required 14 days before arrival.

  • Non-refundable after this point.

• Room Adjustments:

  • Up to 2 rooms can be cancelled without penalty between 30-14 days before arrival.

ii. Bookings Made Inside 30 Days

• Free Cancellation:

  • Up to 14 days before arrival.

• Cancellation Within 14 Days:

  • Charged one night's stay for the whole group.

• Room Adjustments:

  • Up to 2 rooms can be cancelled without penalty within this period.

iii. Bookings Made and Cancelled Within 14 Days

• Cancellation Fee:

  • 50% of the first night’s stay applies.

• No-Show:

  • Charged 100% of the first night’s stay.

3. Amendment Requests

• Communication:

  • All amendment requests must be made via email.

  • For bookings within 2 weeks of the stay, please follow up by phone.

• Subject to Availability:

  • Amendments are subject to availability and may alter the rates initially confirmed.

• Adjustment Process:

  • May involve cancelling the original booking and creating a new one.

• Confirmation:

  • Amendments are tentative until confirmed in writing by Aldan Lodge Motel.

4. Child Policy

• Children Under 2 Years:

  • Stay free of charge unless a separate bed or cot is required.

5. General Policies

• No-Show Bookings:

  • Will be charged a minimum of one night’s stay.

• Non-Smoking Facility:

  • Smoking in rooms will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

  • Additional charges may apply for loss of revenue or damages.

• Availability and Confirmation:

  • All bookings and modifications are subject to availability and confirmation.
